GAY, Beulah (Sug) of Lexington & Houston. Age 81. Died 2/15/1990 (Thursday) in a Houston hospital. Services held 2/17/1990 (Saturday) at First Baptist Church of Lexington. Rev. Reuel Cooper of Lexington First Baptist Church officiated.

She was BORN 7/23/1908 in Milam Co. to M/M Henry (Annie Barker) Bownds. She married George F. Gay 4/24/1931 in Lexington. Member of First Baptist Church of Lexington. Preceded in death by husband on 6/2/1980; son, George Glen Gay, 11/19/1975; great-grandson, James Harold Spears, 10/8/1989; 2 brothers, and 1 sister.

SURVIVORS: Son, Harold "Sonny" Spears of Houston; daughter, Barbara Blocker of Channelview; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
