BOWNDS, William Luther of Lexington & Houston. Age 67. Died 7/5/1973 (Thursday) in a Houston hospital where he had been for 8 days. Services were held (Sat.) in the Lexington Baptist Church. Burial in the Lexington City Cemetery. Rev. Dean Parmer, pastor of Lexington Baptist Church, officiated. He had lived in Houston until 2 years ago when he and his wife moved to Lexington.

He was BORN 6/1/1906 in Milam County to the late H.A. Bownds & Annie Barker Bownds. He was a welder and pipefitter. He married Miss Mary Ciaccio in Houston in 1929. Member of Baptist Church, the Park Place Lodge 1172 of Houston, and Local Union 211 of Houston. Pallbearers were members of the Masonic Lodge.
