Jerry Lee Philpot, 73, of Deer Park, Texas, passed away November 30, 2015. He was born in Pasadena, Texas on August 15, 1942. Jerry graduated from Deer Park High school. He was married to Mary Elizabeth Dorsey on March 8, 1985. Jerry had a career in construction and was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church of La Porte. He had a passion for fishing, camping, family and especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his children, Kimberly Boyd husband Troy, Danette Kerstens husband Andy, Brian Bludworth; grandchildren, Brittanee Johnson, Blake Johnson, Jordyn Jackson, Austin Boyd; great grandson, Bryce Mock and brothers, Jim Philpot and Charles Philpot wife Lishia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends. Jerry was loved by his family and friends and will be missed.
