Nunnelly A. "Jelly Roll" Jones, 67, 210 Lincoln Ave., died at 4:58 p.m. yesterday at a local nursing home.
He was a native of Trimble County, and a former employee of the Jefferson Proving Ground. He was a member of the Mount Byrd Christian Church, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors are one brother, Thomas R. "Bob " Jones, Madison; three sisters: Mrs. Ruth Irwin, Hanover; Mrs. LaVerne Burchfield and Mrs. Nettie Coy, both of Madison; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Vail-Holt Funeral Home with burial in the Moffett Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. tomorrow and from 9 a.m. until time of the service Saturday.
