FRANCES G. HUNT, 81, of the 800 Apartments, died Tuesday at Methodist Evangelical Hospital.


She was a native of Madison, Ind., a retired commander of the Louisville Post of Volunteers of America, and a member of the Douglass Boulevard Christian Church.


Survivors include a daughter, Evelyn Crawford of Farmington, Mich.; two sisters, Irene Stewart and Allene Bettison; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.


The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Pearson's, 149 Breckenridge Lane, with burial at 1 p.m. at Moffett Cemetery in Mlton.


Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.


The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Diabetes Association.
