LAKE PROVIDENCE, LA - Graveside funeral services and interment for Mildred (Allen) House, age 101 of Lake Providence, Louisiana, will be held at 2 PM on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Providence Memorial Cemetery, Louisiana Highway 134, Lake Providence, Louisiana.
Reverend Justin Clark will officiate.
Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove, Louisiana.
Visitation will be held from noon until 1:30 PM on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Cox Funeral Home, 200 East Noble Street in Oak Grove, Louisiana.
Mrs. House passed into eternal life on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Carroll Wellness and Rehab in Oak Grove, Louisiana.
Mildred is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Leon "Sam" House, Jr.; father, Edward Theodore Allen, Sr.; mother, Carl Lee (Coulter) Allen; grandson, Jack House; 4 brothers and 1 sister.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Mary Lou House of Oak Grove, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Michael A. and Carrie House of Crossville, Tennessee; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Anita House of Oak Grove, Louisiana; 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
