Mr. Owen G. Allen, age 89, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Tuesday, February 22, 2005, in Ocean Springs. He retired from the US Air Force after 27 years of service as a Chief Warrant Officer retiring at Keesler Air Force Base. He was a veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict. Mr. Allen was a member of the Masonic Lodge #120 in Biloxi. He was also a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Ocean Springs. Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.T. Allen, three brothers, Joe Allen, Dewey Allen, and Theodore Allen, and one sister, Ida Weaver.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Mrs. Lillian Bea Allen of Ocean Springs, a daughter Frances Sue White and husband, John E. White of Ocean Springs, a son, Owen Robert Allen and wife Martha, of Pearl River, LA., sister, Mildred House of Lake Providence, LA., five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
