Mr. James Russell “Rusty” Adams, Jr. age 62, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021.

Mr. Adams was born in Aiken, SC, on December 23, 1958, the son of the late James Russell “Jimmy” Adams, Sr. and Nina Faye Jones Adams. He was employed with Sontara Old Hickory, Inc. as a maintenance mechanic for many years. Mr. Adams will be remembered for steadfast devotion to his family and friends. He was a gifted problem solver with a passion for staying busy.

Survivors include his wife of twenty years, Tracy Adams; three sons, Adam Tuck (Katie), Brice Adams, and Kolby Adams; sister, Debbie Stroube (Bob); grandson, Ripley Tuck; and four nephews, Derek Belcher (Lauren), Adam Stroube (Marissa), Kyle Stroube (Katie), and Brett Stroube.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 6, 2021 from 8:00 A.M.-10:00 A.M. at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will start at 10:00 A.M. with Jonathan Denton officiating. Interment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Pallbearers include Derek Belcher, Adam Stroube, Kyle Stroube, Brett Stroube, Mike Riley, and Keith Thompson.
