She is preceded in death by her parents Allene (Hancock) Acuff and Clifton Cornelius Acuff, and her beloved Daughter Mitzi Callison. She is survived by her son, George W. French (Amy), brother Clifton ‘Butch’ Acuff, grandsons Jake Weaver (Alyssa) and Parker Thomas, great grandson Zander Weaver, and several nieces and nephews.
Corky was well known for her spunk and charming personality. She loved well, and was well loved. She spent her career and her life in the care of others. In lieu of flowers and in honor of her servant’s heart donations may be made to Senior Citizens Home Assistance Services Inc. Continuing Education Fund ( https://schas.org/donate; or 865-523-2920) Her family wishes to express appreciation to the staff at Jefferson Memorial Hospital during her brief illness.
