Louisa was the wife of James Gentry French (1855-1939). Her first husband was William Millard Dailey (1816-1892). Her second husband was James Alexander Steen (1842-1897). Louisa married William in 1879 and had four children with him: Mary, Effie, Ruth and Earl Dailey. She married James in 1893 and had one son with him - Arnold Steen, who is buried next to her. Louisa married James in 1898 and had at least four children with him: Homer, Crawford, Jocie and Presley French. Louisa was the daughter of Enos Francis McCollum and Anna Rozella (Vinzant) McCollum. She was the granddaughter of a Cherokee woman, whose Native American name was believed to be "Mary Raven Whitehorse."
