Bernard Muller Jr. of Monroe, a retired truck driver for Mancino Trucking Company in Monroe, died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007, at Orange Regional Medical Center in Goshen. Mr. Muller was 70 and had been a lifelong resident of the area.
The son of the late Bernard Muller Sr. and Margaret Minnaugh Muller, he was born Dec. 10, 1936, in Mineola.
He was a member of the Lakeside Fire Company in Monroe, a life member of the Fire Police Association of Orange County, and a past member of Orange County Volunteer Fire Association.
He is survived by his brother, Lawrence Muller, of Camden, Tenn.; and his sisters: Margaret Meisner of Deland, Fla., Geri Mauro of Naples, Fla., Dolores Brannick of Newburgh and Ellen Markert of Middletown. A grave side service was held March 1 at St. Anastasia Cemetery in Harriman. The Rev. Jeffrey Maurer officiated.
Funeral arrangements were by Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Homes in Monroe (www.ssqfuneralhome.com).
