He was BORN 12/29/1916 in Lee Co. to M/M. Eugene and Anna V. Pounders Corder. Married Pauline Godwin on 11/10/1949 in Rockdale. He was employed at Houston Line Belt Steel for 19-1/2 yrs., at Big State Steel for a short time and had been night watchman and water department employee in Rockdale. Lived in Houston for 20 years and Rockdale for past 13-1/2 yrs. Veteran of WW-2 having served 5 yrs. in the U.S. Army.
