Franklin “Frank” D. Carnahan, 84, of Bethel, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. He was born on August 29, 1936, in Ellsinore, Missouri, to the late Bryan and Lillie (nee Boyer) Carnahan. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Katherine “Pat” (nee Taylor) Carnahan, and siblings, Earnest, Clyde, Maxine, and Reva, son in law, Jess Kersey, and daughter in law, Jackie Carnahan.

He is survived by his children, Frank (Barbara) Carnahan, Kathy Kersey, Tom Carnahan, and Kim (Albert) Poynter, 12 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren. Along with extended family and friends, far too many to list, and his companion, Little Bit.

Many that adored Frank, called him the “Handle Man”. Before retirement, he had worked for GM for 30 years, allowing him to be able to enjoy 39 years of retirement. He enjoyed being outdoors, deer hunting, and fishing. Frank had enjoyed fishing for any species of fish thus, earning another nickname of the “Worm Drowner”. He was of Baptist faith, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.
