John Chmielewski, 75, of 1042 Colburn St., died yesterday in St. Vincent's Hospital.
A native of Poland, Mr. Chmielewski lived in Toledo 55 years. He was a dockman for 12 years for Commercial Motor Freight, Inc., retiring 7 years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Sadie; sons, Theodore, Stanley, John, Jr., Raymond, and Joseph; daughters, Mrs. Lillian Brohman, Mrs. Dorothy Rippel, Mrs. Sophie Jackson, and Mrs. Patricia Rosinski, all of Toledo, and 23 grandchildren.
Services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. James Church, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited in Sujkowski Mortuary at 7:45 p.m. tomorrow.
