MRS. EMMA H. SLINGERLAND
Mrs. Emma Harms Slingerland, 53, widow of Merrill Slingerland, died Wednesday morning in St. Joseph's Hospital after an illness of several months. Mrs. Slingerland was born in Syracuse, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Harms. She was a member of Elizabeth Lodge of Harugari and of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert Rose; two sons, Storm and Robert Slingerland and a brother, August C. Harms, all of Syracuse. Funeral services will be held at the brother's home, 317 Heir Avenue, at 2 P. M. Saturday. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
