Oliver Bartlett
Oliver Bartlett, 72, died last evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mead Brownell. Mr. Bartlett had been ill for the past seven weeks with complications following influenza. He was a native of Pownal and was highly respected by his neighbors and friends. The survivors are two brothers, Henry of Bennington and David of South Shaftsbury, three daughters, Mrs. Mead Brownell, Mrs. Frank Armstrong and Mrs. Ernest Kenyon, two sons, Everett and Niles Bartlett, all of this town, and several grandchildren.
The funeral will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of Mrs. Brownell. Burial will take place in Oak Hill cemetery in Pownal.
