Funeral service was held for Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Garrett at 10:30 a. m. December 29 at the Nations-Poplar Creek Baptist Church.
Officiating were Rev. N.B. Vinson & Mr. Dan Beardain. Burial was in the church cemetery with Oliver Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Garrett died Dec. 28 at the Kilmichael Hospital, after a brief illness. She was 70 yrs old.
A Montgomery County native, she was a member of the Nations Church. Her husband was the late Frank Garrett.
She is survive by two children, Thomas F. Garrett, Greenwood & Mrs. Minnie Lee Hudson, Cleveland; a sister., Mrs. Sabra McKay, Pontiac Mich; two brothers, Claude Tidwell, Kilmichael and Dell Tidwell, Winona and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bobby Haley, Alvin Malone, Sonny Tidwell, Wlliam Tidwell, Tommy Tidwell and Jimmy Tidwell.
