Graveside service and interment for Vivian Dale Duncan Frederick, age 69, of Decatur, will be January 18, 2021 at Union Hill Cemetery in Hackleburg with Danny Ward officiating and Peck Funeral Home Directing. No visitation is scheduled.
Mrs. Frederick died January 16, 2021 at her residence. She was born December 1, 1951 in Lamar County to David and Nedra Mae Duncan. She attended school in Vernon and Hamilton, Alabama. She married Sherman Frederick on May 10, 1969 and they moved to Hackleburg where she worked at Wrangler Corporation for 10 years. The couple moved to the Decatur area in 1981 where she went to work at SCI and worked until her retirement in 2016 after 31 years of employment. Mrs. Frederick's hobbies including sewing, traveling, and camping.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter; brothers, Benoit Duncan, David Duncan Jr., Kenneth Duncan, Alvin Eugene Duncan; sisters, Velva Duncan, Rose Hawkins and Violet Birmingham.
Survivors Include her husband, Sherman Frederick of Decatur; One Brother, Ray Duncan of Vernon; One Sister, Nell Duncan Scott of Sullingent
