George Washington Walke left his 1st wife, Rosella and their family (about 1927) and moved to Fayette, Ohio just a short ways away. There he used the last name of Walker to marry his 2nd wife, Effie on 5/26/1928. Living the rest of his life in the State of Maryland, his Walke family never knew what happened to him. The information on his headstone is what Effie and their children only knew of him.
