DEATH OF LITTLE MARTHA DOWLING.
The death angel visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Dowling Dec. 10th and took from them their fairest flower, little Martha, aged 3 years, and 2 days. She was a sweet tender flower that bloomed on earth only a little while. and Is now transplanted in Heaven. It is sad we know dear parents, to part with our loved ones, but God knoweth best. We know she cannot come hack to us, but we can go to her. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Wood on Saturday afternoon and she was then peacefully laid to rest In the Newsome cemetery In the presence of many relatives and friends, who join the bereaved parents in their sorrow and misfortune.
