Anna was born in Cazenovia to Wendel and Margaret Vosen Braun. She married Joseph H. Rockweiler on March 11, 1911 in Cazenovia. She was the mother of five sons; Alfred, Bernard, Frank, Alois, and William; and five daughters, Frances, Cleo, Florence, Marie and Anna. She lived to be 89 years old.

CAZENOVIA, Wl. — Anna M. Rockweiler age 88 passed away Wednesday, February 13,1980 at the St. Joseph Hospital, Hillsboro following a short illness. Her husband, Joseph, preceded her in death December 29, 1965. Survivors include three sons, Bernard, Frank and Alois all of Cazenovia; four daughters, Mrs. Albert (Francis) Stanek of East Troy, WI., Mrs. Cleo Diefenberger of Hartford and
Mrs. Joseph (Florence) Deitelhoff of Cazenovia and Mrs. Michael (Marie) Dwyer of Hillpoint; 41 grandchildren and 52 great grandchildren; also surviving are two sisters-in law, Mrs. Anna Braun of Madison and Mrs. Lillian Rockweiler of Hillsboro. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday from the St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Cazenovia. There will be a altar society rosary at 3:30 pm. on Friday, from the GANT FUNERAL CHAPEL in Cazenovia and parish rosary will be at 8 p.m. from the chapel. Father Ambrose Blenker will officiate. Burial will be In the St. Anthony's Church Cemetery.
