He was born in Tasmania and had first married Martha Cook (1851-1889) in Melbourne in 1873. Late of Swansea, Tasmania & Casterton, Victoria. Two of his sons enlisted from Jarrahdale in 1916.
Edwin died 4 July 1920 in Perth Hospital aged 72
Anna died 20 March 1950. Her last address was Leederville. They are buried grave 212, OC, Anglican at Karrakatta

The Funeral is appointed to leave the Private Mortuary of Messrs. Donald J. Chipper and Son, 844 Hay-street, Perth, at 2 o'clock THIS (Tuesday) AFTERNOON. Friends wishing to attend the Funeral may proceed by the 2.35 o'clock train from Perth
