NOTE Anna Maria Woodland (nee Nelson 1865-1950), married Edwin Portman 'Jim' Woodland (1847-1920) in 1903. An engine driver for Millars' Timber & Trading Co., Jarrahdale.
He was born in Tasmania and had first married Martha Cook (1851-1889) in Melbourne in 1873. Late of Swansea, Tasmania & Casterton, Victoria. Two of his sons enlisted from Jarrahdale in 1916.
Edwin died 4 July 1920 in Perth Hospital aged 72
Anna died 20 March 1950. Her last address was Leederville. They are buried grave 212, OC, Anglican at Karrakatta
.. I thought there might be a family link but research reveals Ann & Anna Maria were just friends in Jarrahdale, maybe through her 2nd husband

A MILITARY FUNERAL HUGHES - The Friends of the late Private John Hughes, Crimean veteran, late of Jarrahdale, 100 years of age, are respectfully invited to follow his remains to the place of interment, the Church of England portion of the Karrakatta Cemetery. The Funeral is appointed to leave the Private Mortuary of Messrs. Donald J. Chipper and Son, 844 Hay-street, Perth, at 2 o'clock THIS (Tuesday) AFTERNOON. Friends wishing to attend the Funeral may proceed by the 2.35 o'clock train from Perth
