Mary married Henry Everts in 1852 in Addraid, MI. They were the parents of Barbara,Marjorie (Mrs C.L. Knodle), and Archie Everts.

Contributed by FAG #47030676 - Mrs. H.M. Everts - Mary Everts, wife of Henry M., of this city, died at the home her daughter, Mrs. Charles L. Knodle in Elgin, IL. this Thursday morning at 6:45 o'clock, from the infirmities of age. The body will be brought to Dixon on the 12:44 train tomorrow noon for burial, and the funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2 o'clock p.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Willis C. Spiller, 610 Nachusa Avenue.

Mrs. Everts was born at ?-----------Scotland Nov. 4, 1815 and immigrated to this country in 1850. In 1852 she was united in marriage with Henry M. Everts at Addraid, Michigan and came to Lee county, this state in 18?? where she lived until the fall of 1890? when she went to Elgin to reside with her daughter, Mrs. C.L. Knodle?

She leaves an aged husband and one son and two daughters --Archibald Everts of Freeport, Mrs. Spiller of Dixon and Mrs. Knodle of Elgin. (Dixon Evening Telegraph, Dixon, IL., Thur., Apr. 14, 1904, pg 1)
