PRINCEVILLE -- Howard C. Beall, 97, formerly of Princeville, died at 2:20 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, 1999, at Heritage Manor in Chillicothe. Born June 3, 1901, in Jubilee Township, Peoria County, to Charles Wesley and Lois McKown Beall, he married M. Pearl Beall on Dec. 27, 1923, in Peoria. She died April 28, 1991, in Peoria. He also was preceded in death by one son, Franklin Beall; three brothers; one sister; and one grandson. Surviving are one son, Dale of Princeville; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He farmed in Princeville Township, Jubilee Township and near Brimfield for many years until he retired in 1966. He was a member of the Peoria County Farm Bureau and the Princeville Historical Association.

He was a member of Princeville United Methodist Church.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home. The Rev. Rex Hendrix will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Princeville Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Akron/Princeville Ambulance Fund or his church.
