Rose Ivadel Bruner was born June 2, 1947 in Wewoka, OK. She was the 9th child born to the late Charley and Pernie (Colbert) Bruner. She was raised in Wewoka and attended Johnson Grove, Nobletown and Butner schools. She obeyed the gospel at Cedar Street Church of Christ then later moved to Oklahoma City where she was a member of the Creston Hills Church of Christ. Rose never had children of her own because God blessed her with nieces and nephews who she loved as her own. Rose was employed at Elmwood for many years. She loved to cook, take a ride and spend time with family and friends.

Preceding Rose in death are her parents, five brothers and seven sisters. A life of love and joy came to a close on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 in Oklahoma City. She leaves to cherish her lovely memories; three brothers, Willis Bruner, Bobby Bruner, and Fredrick (Alberta) Bruner; five sisters, Ola Faye Bruner, Rena (Earl) Alford, Dorothy Bruner, Ellen (Reggie) Cooper and Corrine Bruner; one uncle, Curtis Colbert; four aunts, Clarine Elbert, Maple Hamilton, Doris Colbert, Regina Washington. She had 58 nieces and nephews of two nieces that she raised and loved as her own, Latonya Roberts and Lapernie Blanton. Rose will always be remembered by her genuine heart and her laughter.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday January 5, 2021 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel with Minister Mark Vaugh officiating and burial to follow at Leader Cemetery, Stonewall, Oklahoma.
