Passed away Friday, June 30, 1989, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, at the age of 89 years, Alta was born in Illinois, on January 7, 1900, to Frank R. and Lucy (nee: Newton) Love. On January 20, 1949 Alta was united in marriage to Ernest Aul at Second Presbyterian Church in Racine. She had been employed at Hamilton Beach as a Machinist for 20 years. Alta was a member of Second Presbyterian Church, the Ladies Guild, Good Fellowship Club, and the Bible Study Group at Second Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Aul has been a resident of Racine since 1936. Surviving are three sons and three daughters-in-law; Charles E. (Lois) of Racine, John T. (June) of Racine, and Joseph M. (Jan) Fiegel of Rapid River, MI., one daughter and son-in-law; Joan (Glenn) Zemke of Shawnee, OK. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Alta was preceded in death by her husband; Ernest Aul on January 20, 1975. Funeral Services will be held on Monday morning July 3, at 10:30 a.m. at Second Presbyterian Church, located at 1400 Kingston Street, with Rev. Charles Valenti-Hein officiating. Friends may call at the Church on Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be at West Lawn Memorial Park. In memory of Alta memorials may be given to Second Presbyterian Church.
