Allen Bruce Stidam, age 65, of Hillsboro Road, Hillsboro, Kentucky, went to his eternal home in heaven on January 2, 2021, with family by his side.



He was born August 29, 1955, to the late Winston Thomas and Vivian Agnes (Sparks) Stidam at their home in Vanceburg, Kentucky. He was also preceded in death by his older brother, Darrell Thomas Stidam of Quincy, Kentucky.



Allen is survived by his wife of 43 years, Wilma Jean “Susie” Pence Stidam; one son, Ronnie Stidam and fiancée Ericka Gearhart of Hillsboro, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Makayla Stidam, Dylan Stidam, Layla Gearhart, and Skylar Gearhart; two great grandchildren, Bently Back and Iziah Lowery.



He is also survived by four brothers and one sister, Monty (Leashe) Stidam, Brenda (Richard) Willoughby and Steven (Tina) Stidam, all of Vanceburg, Kentucky, Jeff (Angela) Stidam of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, and Kevin Stidam (Nancy Pence) of Morehead, Kentucky, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in law, and extended family members who will miss him.



Allen was a former machinist for Browning Mfg. in Georgetown, a mechanic for Don McKenzie Ford in Morehead, a longtime truck driver for Green Tree Forest Products in Wallingford, Kentucky, and a farmer. He was of the Christian faith.



He enjoyed talking with his son Ronne (who followed in his Dad’s footsteps) about the trucking world. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren and attending family reunions. He liked to cut-up and joke with people, especially children, and children loved him. Allen was loved by many who will sadly remember him.



Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Terry Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Pence Cemetery on Bull Fork Road. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.



Visitation for Allen Bruce Stidam is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351,



In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals to assist with funeral expenses.
