Mr. Darrell Thomas Stidam, age 64, of Quincy, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
He was born December 8, 1952, in Lewis County, Kentucky, a son of the late Winston Thomas and Vivian Agnes Sparks Stidam.
Darrell was of the Christian faith and the owner of Tire World. He enjoyed watching UK Basketball and spending time with his grandchildren.
Darrell is survived by one son, Danny Stidam; one daughter, Stefanie Bolton (David); four grandchildren, Brianna Stidam, Jadan Stidam, Branton Stidam and David Bolton II; five brothers, Allen Stidam (Susie), Monty Stidam (Leashia), Jeff Stidam (Angela), Kevin Stidam (Nancy) and Steven Stidam (Tina); one sister, Brenda Willoughby (Richard); and the mother of his children, Sheila Lewis Stidam. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg, Kentucky with Brother Terry Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Thomas Cemetery in Lewis County, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2017 and after 9 a.m. Thursday at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street, Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
