Mrs Emma Blankenship, 74, of 209 Etna St., Russell died at 3:45p.m. July 23 in Our Lady Of Bellefonte Hospital following an extended illness.

She was born Sept 21 1907, a daughter of the late Charles and Minnie Wheeler Artis .

Survivors include her husband Ralph K Blankenship; and five sisters Daisy Sizemore and Addie Sizemore both of Greenup, Sallie Stephens of Wurtland, Carrie Witten of Flatwoods, and Virginia Caster of Dayton.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2p.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church by Rev. Don Young and O.M. Miller. Burial will be in Plum Grove Cemetery. Friends can call at the Carman Funeral Home Flatwoods, from 6-9 p.m. today.
