Angus Cameron Passes On Today:

Custer – Friends were grieved to hear of the death of Angus Cameron, 70, well known Custer Township farmer, who passed away at his home this morning at 10:30 o'clock following a week's illness with pneumonia. Mr. Cameron has been a lifelong member of the Roman Catholic Church.

Those left to mourn his passing are nine children, five daughters, Mrs. Cassie Gerbers of Riverton, Mrs. Lillian McGuire of Clare, Mrs. Mildred Conrad and Mrs. Muriel Rohrmoser both of Amber, and Miss Claribel Cameron at home and four sons, Gerald and Robert of Muskegon and Stuart and Cardinal of Scottville; 16 grandchildren and several brothers and sisters. His wife preceded him in death 13 years ago. The body was taken to Stephens's funeral home in Scottville and funeral arrangements will be announced later.
Gerald Cameron, who was called to Custer by the sickness and death of his father returned to his home in Muskegon Tuesday afternoon.Robert Cameron left for Muskegon Tuesday evening.
