He was the son of Herman and Ida Hensel Feltz. He worked for the Crystal Lake Herald and also for the National Yeast and Grain Plant in Crystal Lake. He was a World War II Air Force veteran.
He was survived by his wife, Dorothy Colby Feltz, four sons, Stanley W. of Crystal Lake, Stewart E. of Carbondale,
Douglas W. of Dallas, and Richard J. of St. Louis, Mo., two daughters, Carol F. of New Jersey and Beverly G. of
Carbondale, and one grandchild.
Other survivors include four brothers, Al of Kempster, Wis., Herman of Marengo, Bill of Crystal Lake, and
George of Harvard, and two sisters, Emma Burns of Deerbrook, Wis., and Anna Feltz of Crystal Lake.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Elsie Pearson and Marie Morriss.
