Nason was the son of Joseph & Sally (Stevens) Hoyt. He married Susanna Webster 3 Feb 1829 at theShefford Anglican Church, Bolton, Stanstead Co., Quebec. They had 10 children. He was born in NH and the family moved to Stanstead county, Quebec and lived there for 46 years before moving the Chautauqua County, NY where he owed a farm.
