BURLINGTON - Angelina (Lena) Abel, 80, of 135 Stafford Road, Burlington, passed away Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, at Bristol Hospital. She was the wife of Glenn Abel. She was born in Newark, N.J., April 27, 1927, the daughter of the late Anthony and Lucrezia Lena. Angelina was a resident of Bristol and Burlington most of her life, and was a member of St. Gregory Church. She worked at New Departure for 43 years, before she retired in 1986. Besides her husband, she is survived by a sister, Josephine Balzano of Branford; six nieces; and six nephews. The religious service will be held Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 5 p.m. until time of the service. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol, at the convenience of the family.
