"Tonopah - Mrs. Mary Jane Thompson, eighty-four, who had spent eighty years of her life in Nevada, died here today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. F. Geyer.
Mrs. Thompson was born in Provo, Utah and came to Nevada with her family in 1863, settling in the Carson Valley. She had been a resident of Tonopah since 1913. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Geyer and Mrs. D. F. Dolan, both of Tonopah and a son J. D. Thompson of Los Angeles, three grandsons and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held here Sunday afternoon under the direction of the Rebakahs. She was also a member of Eastern Star."
