HE MARRIED MARTHA SUE CHRISTIAN ON 5 JUL 1894 IN HAWKINS COUNTY, TENNESSEE. GOD BLESSED THIS MARRIAGE WITH THE FOLLOWING CHILDREN: BERTHA M, STEPHEN EARL, HOLLIS S, GEORGE FULLER, MARY JANE, DELPHIA, HUGH LAWRENCE, WILLIAM LARK, IDA MOLLIE, SARAH, LASSIE JANE, NELLIE, ELIZABETH MAUDE AND HELLEN IVA.

THE SIBLINGS OF HENDERSON HUGH ANDERSON WERE GEORGE W, KARY, ELIZABETH A, CLINTON, CHARLES, KATE R ANDERSON AND MINA E ANDERSON.

HENDERSON HUGH ANDERSON WAS THE GRAND UNCLE OF MY HUSBAND.

CHURCH HILL – Henderson H. Anderson, 88, of Stanley Valley Community, Church Hill, Route 1, died early Tuesday at his home following a lengthy illness.

Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. Bertha Anderson, Mrs. Aug Barker, Mrs. Dee Arnold and Mrs. Raymond Alley, all of Kingsport; Miss Lassie Anderson, Mrs. George Lawson and Mrs. Woodrow Lloyd, all of Church Hill; four sons, Steven and Lawrence of Surgoinsville; Fuller, Church Hill; and Lark Anderson of Kingsport; 31 grandchildren; several great- and great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Bethel Church with Rev. Herman Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The body will remain at Carter-Clamon Funeral Home before the funeral. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
