"Died - Mrs. Mary Isabella Waters, wife of Mr. John C. Waters, died on last Sunday afternoon, aged 39 years. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Wallis, of this place. She leaves 9 children. Her death was not unexpected, as she had been sick for some time. She had been a member of the Methodist Church for 25 years, and, owing to excruciating suffering, was anxious for the coming of death. She was calm and resigned, and trusted in the merits of the "crucified One." She has gone to the home of the good. Her funeral was preached by Rev. Joel T. Daves on Monday afternoon, after which her remains were placed in the sepulcher of rest. We deeply sympathize with the husband and children in their great bereavement. [A lengthy poem follows this notice.]
