IZELL HAMILTON, 87, of Snyder, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, in an Altus hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Church of Christ in Snyder, with Mike Hinton, Blanchard, and Ron Suiter, minister of the Snyder Church of Christ officiating.
Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder, under the direction of Becker Funeral Home of Snyder.
She was born May 31, 1920 in Sentinel, Okla., to Grover Henry and Lillie Mae Overstreet Cross. She married Alfred Lee Hamilton on Nov. 19, 1938 in Sentinel. He died Nov. 23, 1999. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her five children and their spouses, Alf Hamilton, Jr. and his wife Beverly of Dallas, Texas, Rilda Fern Perry and husband Don of Lubbock, Texas, Wyneese Barker and her husband Billy of Snyder, Larry Dean Hamilton and wife Joanne of Mustang, Debbie Sue Miller and husband Max of Headrick; a brother, Sam Cross of Amarillo, Texas; a sister, Patsy Dodd and her husband Dean of Las Vegas, Nev.; ten grandchildren, Kimberly Gayle Fralix, Scott Allen Hamilton, Tracy Perry, Paige Baldridge, Kelly Franklin, Kevin Barker, Kent Barker, Machell Gassett, Neil Hamilton, Jordan Miller; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
