Mr. Kashner served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was retired as a sheet metal worker from Sany Metal in El Monte. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Geneva Kashner, of Lodi; daughter, Dianne Jones, of Lodi; sons, Dick Kashner, of Lodi, and Jim Kashner, of Paradise; sisters, Dot, Alice, Jean, Tody and Judy, all of Indiana; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held and inurnment will be at Cherokee Memorial Park, Lodi. Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
