This was my aunt Eunice Esther Fogle, age 97 of 105 Seneca street, Bettsville, Ohio. She passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at the Valley View Nursing Home in Fremont, Ohio. Eunice Fogle was born March 30, 1910 in Kansas, Ohio to the late Herman Able and Ora Christine (Hull) Emmons. Eunice married Jacob H. Fogle on May 5, 1928 in Fremont, Ohio. Jacob preceded her in death on April 21, 1974. Surviving are a son, Arthur (Virginia) Fogle and a daughter, Janet Clark, both of Bettsville, Ohio, brothers, Carl (Jeri) Emmons of Fostoria, Ohio, and Gerald (Shirley) Emmons of Tiffin, Ohio, and a sister Violet (Robert) Bond of Defiance, Ohio, three grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and eleven step-great grandchildren. Eunice was a homemaker and was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church. Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Visitation will be Friday, October 5, 2007 from 4-7 P.M. at the Engle Shook Funeral Home in Bettsville, Ohio. The funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 6, 2007 at the Engle shook Funeral Home in Bettsville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetary. In lieu of flowers the family would like memorial contrabutions to be made to the Seneca County Humane Society, Salem United Methodist Church or to the donor's choice.
