Mina was the daughter of Albert Milton and Lula Elizabeth Donaldson Jones. She married Carl Simpson July 17, 1937 in Throckmorton. He preceded her in death on July 30, 1997. Mina and Carl moved to Graham from Crosbyton in 1984. She married Bobby Carrel Cox on Sept. 26, 1998 in Graham.
Mina was known for her poetry, songwriting and antique collecting. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was lifelong Baptist and a faithful servant of God.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Larry and Kenneth Simpson.
At time of death she was survived by her husband, Bobby Cox of Graham; sons, Cecil Thaddeus Simpson of High Rolls,N.M., and Bobby Ray Simpson of Ft. Worth; stepson, Eddy Cox of Stephenville; stepdaughters, Carol Holder of Graham and Darla Stevens of Dublin.
