Miss Dora Bender died Wednesday night at 11:30 of consumption, at the home of her uncle, Mr John Earley in Sharpsburg, aged 22 years and one day. She was a member of the Lutheran Church , also a member of the Y P S C E. She was the daughter of the late Mrs Charles Bender who died 18 years ago, leaving one daughter. She was a general favorite. Funeral Friday at 2 pm from the Lutheran Church with Rev A A Kerlin officiating. Interment Mt View Cemetery. She selected these bearers: Hays Cronise, Bert Kerlin, Charles Gross, Herbert Gross, George Rohr and Nesbitt Cox.
