Bonnie Louise Lowery, age 67, of Newland passed away on Saturday November 17, 2007 at her residence. She was born a daughter of the late Roby and Cora Coffey Baldwin.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ and enjoyed gospel music. Bonnie was a homemaker.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Beatrice Hartley, Reattie Baldwin and Virginia Mae Lynnscott and brothers, Clarence, Archie, Hoover, Harrison, Homer, Tivies, and Carlos Baldwin.

Survivors include; her husband, Cecil Lowery of the home; a daughter, Cora Andrews of Newland; four sons, Robert Lowery, Emmanuel Lowery, Richard Lowery, James Lowery all of Newland; sister, Hazel Collins of South Lyons, MA; brother, Claude Baldwin of Newland; 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

The Lowery family will receive friends on Monday November 19th from 6:00 ? 8:00 p.m. at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home in Newland. Funeral services for Bonnie will take place on Tuesday November 20th at 12:00 p.m. in the Grandfather Chapel at the funeral home with the Rev. Steve Turbyfill and Rev. Brent Price officiating. Interment will follow at the Newland Cemetery.
