COLLINS, Hazel (Baldwin), age 77 of South Lyon, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Granny's Delight Adult Foster Care Home in Brighton. She was born on December 21, 1936 in Avery County, North Carolina, daughter of the late Roby & Cora Baldwin. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She loved gardening and was known for her green thumb with flowers. She enjoyed family gatherings for the holidays and reunions. Hazel was a devoted member of the Brighton Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ronel, her son, Lonnie, her brother, Claude Baldwin and her siser-in-laws, Lorraine Smith, Edith VanBuren, and Linda Williams. Hazel is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a daughter-in-law in heart, Paula Doan.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3 at 1:00pm at the Brighton Church of the Nazarene, 7669 Brighton Rd, Brighton, MI. Visitation will be held at church on Tuesday from 9:00am until the time of the service at 1:00pm. Hazel will be laid to rest in Washtenong Memorial Park.
