Nancy Gore
Nancy Simmons Gore, 82, of Lumberton, died Wednesday, December 9, 2020. She was born January 16, 1938, in Burkeville, to Opal Leach Simmons and Richard Lee Simmons.
She was married to her husband C.W. for sixty-five years and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, and nana.
Survivors include her daughter, Molly Gore Lindsey and her husband, Chris, of New Orleans, Louisiana; grandchildren, Second Lieutenant Christopher Lindsey, USMC, Olivia Lindsey, Catherine Lindsey, Claudia Lindsey, and Ella Lindsey; and brother, Richard “Dickie” Simmons and his wife, Patricia. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, C.W. Gore; and son, Richard “Rocky” Eric Gore.
Mrs. Gore’s graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Sunday, December 13, 2020, at Ford Cemetery, Newton, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
