Henderson, TN - Services for Mrs. Vestie Mae Kelley, 63, will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Old Friendship Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Morgan Funeral Home in charge.
She died early Monday at her home near Finger after an illness of three years. She was born in Decatur County and was married to Atlas F. Kelley in 1914. They had lived in Chester County since 1935. She was a member of Bethel Springs Methodist Church.
Besides her husband, she leaves four sons, Clyde and Joe Kelley of Henderson, Edman Kelley and Freedman Kelley of Finger; four daughters, Mrs. Vaudie Smith of Henderson, Mrs. Martha Phillips, Genesel, IL, Mrs. James Lymann Plunk, Jacks Creek, and Mrs. Thurman Wable of Wichita, KS; four brothers, John Keeton, Jim Keeton, Ove Keeton and Bedford Keeton; and a sister, Mrs. Andy Brigance, all of Decaturville; 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
