Adeline Shannon, died peacefully in her home Aug. 28, beloved wife of the late John F. Shannon; loving mother of Anna May (Marvin) Miller; cherished grandmother of Meghan, Michael and Andrew Miller; dear sister of Alfred ''Tom'' and Clinton ''Pete'' Swanson; aunt to many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Shannon was a retiree from Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Illinois. Visitation Monday 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services Tuesday 10 a.m. at Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home, 4343 Main St., Downers Grove. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery.
