Shirley Curtis died May 23 at her Cloverdale home. She was 57.
Born April 21, 1947, in Putnam County, she was a daughter of the late Norman Mason Runnells and Grace Pauline (Nicely) Runnells Cooper. She married Stanley Curtis on Sept. 4, 1965. He survives.
Mrs. Curtis worked as the secretary at Cloverdale High School, Public Service Indiana, Missionary Flights International, and the team coordinator for Missionary International.
She was a 34-year member of the New Providence Baptist Church in Greencastle.
Additional survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Dena and Brian Barganz of Sturgeon Bay, Wisc.; a son, Brian Curtis of Cloverdale; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Janice Runnells of Cloverdale; a granddaughter, Amber Curtis of Cloverdale, and a grandson, Curtis Barganz of Sturgeon Bay; and two nieces and five nephews.
Preceding her in death was a sister, Betty Jane Bernhardt.
Services were May 26 at New Providence Baptist Church with the Rev. Murray Clugston officiating. Interment was at New Providence Cemetery
