Mr. Arvel "Bojack" Brownlee, 70, of Vossburg, MS passed from this life Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. He was born in Greene County, MS on Friday, November 17, 1950 to Jeff Brownlee and Ora Lee Brownlee. He was a member of Hephzibah Baptist Church. He has worked as a self-employed Logger. Mr. Brownlee is preceded in death by his father, Jeff Brownlee, mother, Ora Lee Brownlee; three brothers; three sisters. He is survived by his wife of 51 Years, Alma L. Brownlee, Vossburg, MS; son, David Paul Brownlee, Shubuta, MS; three daughters, Mary Boleware (David), Vossburg, MS, Tonya Brownlee, Sandersville, MS, Ella Brownlee, Vossburg, MS; two brothers, Alton Brownlee, Carl Wayne Brownlee, both of Richton, MS; four sisters, Reba Mayo, Bob Newell, Dink White, Sally Mills, all of Richton, MS; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews. Bojack and Alma also reared 10 other children. Visitation for Mr. Brownlee will be held beginning at 5:00 PM Friday, December 4, 2020 at Church of The Lord Jesus Christ, Vossburg, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Church of The Lord Jesus Christ in Vossburg, MS with Rev. Pat Patterson and Rev. Keith Stewart officiating. Interment will be in Goodwater Cemetery in Clarke County, MS.
