Lynda Hogan Allen, 60, of Fountain Hill, died Sunday, November 29, 2020, in Monticello. Mrs. Allen was born in Bastrop, Louisiana and was a resident of Fountain Hill for the past 54 years. She was raised in Fountain Hill and lived in Bastrop, Louisiana for six years, having graduated in 1978 from Bastrop High School. Mrs. Allen worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello and she was of the Baptist faith. She spent many years sewing and babysitting several children in her home. She loved camping and fishing and was known for her wonderful cooking and recipes.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Helen Chunn Ruffin; her step-father, Curtis Ruffin; her step-mother, Marie Hogan and a brother, Curtis “Curt” Ruffin, Jr.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Wayne Allen; her daughter, Angie Clavet and husband, Buddy; her son, that has been missing for over three years, Brad Allen, all of Fountain Hill; her father, Allen Hogan of Hamburg; four brothers, Chuck Ruffin and wife, Jean, of South Carolina, James Ruffin of Bastrop, Louisiana, Richard Hogan and wife, Jamie, of Hamburg and Ben Hogan of Georgia; two sisters, Tammy Hogan Manley and husband, Ron, of Bastrop, Louisiana and Lisa Barbara and husband, Scott, of Sterlington, Louisiana; nine grandchildren, Shannon Brennon, Bailey Clavet, Jaci Brooke Clavet, Kalae Allen, Lexie Allen, J.J. Allen, Tyler Clavet Hogan and husband Eric, Garrett Clavet and wife Cheyenne and Mallory Clavet; five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside services are 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2020, in the Zion Cemetery with Bro. Tim Post officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Tony Craig, Mickie Craig, Stan Craig, John Montgomery, Fred Wayne Hogan, Eric Hogan, Evan Hogan, Jonathan Barbara, Timmy Allison and Bobby Ray Miller.

The family will be receiving friends at their home from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 400 Ashley Road 80, Hamburg, AR 71676 and 9:45 – 10 a.m., Wednesday at the cemetery.
