Nora B. Barrentine, age 79, of Northport, Al., passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 2, 2020, at Phillip's Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Larry Colburn and Bro. Terrell Jones officiating and Magnolia Chapel North directing. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Barrentine; Mother and father, Jake and Virgin Sanford; and a host of brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
Survivors include her children, Jakey Barrentine (Debrah), Martha Traweek, Lula Goff (Bobby), and Teresa Turner; grandchildren, Renee and Tiffany Barrentine, Luke Traweek, Lisa Robertson (JR), Jonathan Goff, Danny Turner Jr. (Melody), Lenora Rinehart (Matt), and Cooper Turner (Alana); great grandchildren, Charity and Grace Hatter, James Robertson III, Hayden and Zaylon Smith, Otis and Eli Turner, and Brantley Rinehart; brother, J.W Sanford (Margie); sister, Ruby Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and friends.
She was a big-hearted person who was always fun to be around. She loved flowers of all kinds and enjoyed being outside around the flowers.
